Collie Weather is an app for Coloradans everywhere! (Being in Colorado helps however). With this app you can get local forecasts per zip code - both hourly and 10-day - or if you're going to hit the slopes, get an update on snowfall, wind speed, and projected temperature for over a dozen of Colorado's most popular resorts. This app was a team collaboration using git version control, employing angular and the Weather Underground API.
Fishr is a fly fishing app built by (a) fly fisher for other fly fishermen and -women. Using google's geolocation feature, users can sign in, and drop a pin where they made their latest catch, including when the catch was made, what kind of fish was hooked, and on what fly (size and type). And of course, usrs get to upload that all-important trophy photo along with the post!
This site was built for a friend of a friend - an aspiring NYC actor whose existing portfolio page (headshots, witty one-liners, etc) badly needed a facelift! It was built on wordpress via a local MAMP server. Break a Leg, Jake!
Autopay, an auto finance/refinance company local to Denver, decided they didn't want to host their site locally, and wanted the look and feel of their forward facing marketing site to be a little...fresher. We decided together to migrate their wordpress instance to Squarespace, both allowing for better responsiveness across devices, as well as freeing up space on their servers.
Simply. Hilarious. I built this simple wordpress blog for a friend, and am SOOOO glad I did. The concept is simple. He just wanted something to look and feel like the satire news source 'The Onion,' in such a way that he could pen his own witticisms (many of which center around the goings on in his home). I highly recommend a read, I'm not sure what he's doing arguing cases in a courtroom rather than as a writer for SNL.
I worked with Tripta Foundation, a nonprofit mental wealth and substance addiction center based in Mumbai, India, for a few months to kickstart their brand's digital presence. In addition to launching their CMS via Wordpress, I managed their social media (IG/Twitter/Facebook/Linkedin) with a steady drumbeat of posts, articles, stories, and (relevant) memes.
I approached Pop-Up Housing because I believed strongly in what they were doing - creating low-fi housing infrastructure for the urban poor from recycled metal and waste composite material that could be assembled (or disassembled and moved) without requiring special knowledge or tools. I say 'believed' because until I spoke to the Founder over the phone, all I had to go on was outside references. Despite their great work, they didn't have a website.
I'd love to hear from you. Especially if it's because my code's missing a semicolon.
